Help

I have a 2010 FLHR and am trying to hookup a power source for **** like charging my phone on the road. I bought the stock piece from Harley and it looks like the only place to hook it up is the data link connector cause that's the only plug that it will fit but I get nothing no juice period. I checked all fuses and their good. This should be simple installation and I'm no HD mechanic but a de net driveway mechhanic . I checked with the guy at the counter and he had no idea . Any suggestions

Pull the tank, there should be an accessory connector inside the plastic housing that the wiring runs through over the top of the frame. Thats where it is at on EG's and RG's.

my acc plug is under the seat right in front of battery,small plastic box rubber cap under cap 4 small holes,u can also use the battery tender plug or run a wire from battery (with inline fuse)

If you have a battery tender pigtail, go to Amazon and purchase a 4' battery tender cord with a cigar liter socket on 1 end and a 2 prong connector that matches your battery tender pigtail. Tie strap the cigar socket to a cable by the handlebars and route the cord under tank and tie strap pigtal next to battery pigtail. Unplug battery tender and plug in cigar lighter. About a 10 minute install and fused thru your tender pigtail. If you have saddlebags, you can buy a shorter socket cord, plug it in and lay it in your saddlebag and charge your phone there.
