Hi Y'all,

My battery is weak...I have a 12 volt tender for an old car...was going to hook up to the bike. I went to pull the seat off and noticed a quick disconnect cable plug behind the battery. It looks an awful lot like a Battery Tender disconnect plug.

Is the little cabledisconnect plug sticking out behind the battery there to hook up a battery tender, or does it have another purpose?

mine came with one.

I don't think it's stock, perhaps the dealer puts them on if a bike is in the showroom for a while?

 

Mine didn't come with one. Wish it did.

My 06 Super Glide came with one (the plug, not the whole charger setup), dealer never told me it was there.

 

yes, that's what it sounds like...some dealers do it...some don't. The wire is $7.95..in the long run it saves the dealers time when they have to recharge the batteries and it sells battery tenders.
