im waiting on my shocks so i might as well get this done although i dont feel like it. i was wondering where everyone pulls their signal wires from for their relocation. i was thinking slice the mesh cover and pull from right under the handlebars rather then try to yank the mesh cover out of the frame and pull out there just to have more wires streaming outa the frame. whatya suggest? is the wire inside the meshing look the same as the exposed wiring that runs from the signal into the switch housing?

Let me see if I can get this straight..... The wiring you see exposed phrom the bottom of the handlebar controls to the signals is a continuous cable. It passes through the controls housing, and is inside the cloth(mesh) sleeve with the rest of the control wiring running back to a connector inside the phrame.
Disconnect it phrom the connector in the phrame. Remove the wires phrom the connector then pull it through the cloth(mesh) sleeve and out of the bottom of the control housing. Remove the signals phrom the bottom of the mirrors, and relocate. Push the wiring back through the openings on the sides of the phrame reattach to the connector, reconnect the connector.
Of course you can always cut and solder the wires too, but basically it is one continuous wire phrom the signals to the inside of the phrame.
I used the 49mm kuryakyn fork mounts instead of stalks from moco. See here for information on removing turn signal wires from connectors. The only way to do it in my opinion. Good luck
I don't have the best picture of my wiring, but what the heck. If you look closely, you can see what the wire looks like without the mesh sleeve. I went with the H-D brand relo kit. I'm kinda wishing I went with the Kury kit instead. The H-D kit sticks out a bit far, in my opinion.
