Mine runs from the fitting on the master cylinder to the fitting on the caliper. One solid rubber line. Has a clamp behind the lower tree to hold it in place.
I ordered a 45" line, but best to measure and decide what angles you want on the ends as each bike and bars are different.
The distance from caliper to tripple tree should not change, used a piece of flexible tubing to get the right bend and added that distance to the bottom measurement.
Mine fit perfectly for my setup.
Thanks again - so it's one piece. When I go on the magnum site it seems they have an upper line and a lower line - probably so you can leave the lower in place if you change bars and just buy a longer upper and junction. I just want to go one straight run from master to caliper and use the under the tree mount as a place holder.

When I installed my apes I had to fit a new brake line. I used the HD diamond back modular lines. Used the chrome for the lower and the black for the upper. The 2 cables just screw together.
Every thing below the join is chrome or alu, hence the silver lower, every thing above the join is black, hence the black upper.
