Default New Mustang Wide Tripper seat and a few new pics

I just got my new seat in the mail this morning and thought I would share some pics and some thoughts. So far I love the look of it and it is very comfortable over my last seat, Lepera Bare Bones.

Alrighty no problem.

The first was my dads bike, a 1982 Honda GL500. I got it from him a couple years ago, sat in the garage for about 18 years. It only has 2400 miles on it, it's like brand new. I changed the bars, mufflers and turn signals to make it a little more modern.

The second is my Yamaha XS650 that I built into a chopper. This was my first build and it came out exactly like I imagined it. I was going through a divorce at the time so it was a great distraction.

And the third is another XS650 that I built for my brother but I took it in more of a brat style.

Those are cool bikes. I'd like to see those in person some time.

I love my tripper. The workmanship is amazing compared to the HD solos which cost more.

Love the new seat. Been looking at the Mustang seats as well for my Wide Glide.

Love the looks of your XS650 Choppers. If you ever want to sell one, let me know. I would buy it for my brother who had to get rid of his a few years ago.

Night and day difference. Not as wide as factory in back, and narrower in front also. Butt dispersion way better than factory(felt like only butt bones supporting my body) and doesn't dig in anywhere. Front feels already broken in, pillion pretty firm out of box, haven't used it yet, so we will see what wife says about it. They make a close version, but I got regular, and am glad I did(even with my stubby 29 inch inseam). I got the regular wide solo, wide pillion both with diamond stitch in black. Looks awesome on the BBP Street Bob. Tried the brown, it looks awesome, but didn't look right on blue bike. Pillion very snug width wise with the detach side plate/sissy, but one piece detach has sissy plenty of room. Also the pillion is kind of a tussle to get lined up and on, but well worth the option of solo look if you want...and I think they look better than the one piece tripper 2up. Also the wide pillion is just the right size(round/oval) so the wifes butt doesn't hang over the edges. Mama's happy everybody's happy.
