Kelowna Trip
Hey guys just got back from a trip from just outside of calgary to kelowna. Great ride. Couple of pics here for you. Nothing fantastic. 700km trip but most of the speed limit is 90km/hr so it took me about 10 hours with traffic outside banff. *** hurt a little after that one. Looking at getting some new progressive 970's in black. Anyways heres a few pics. Take a look at the link got a kick out of that picture
Stopped just before Canmore and this guy really liked my bike so I let him sit on it for a bit. He was estatic

Grew up in South Western BC, If you like a scenic route with lots of twisties, PM me and I will draw you a map. There is a back road that is fun to drive and ends up in Kelowna, Not a lot of traffic, One big ferry and one little one.
Calgary to Invermere, BC is about 3 hours doing the speed limit. I am usually around 2.5hrs.
Never been from Vancouver to Whistler, would be a gorgeous ride up the coast. 128Auto does it a few time a year.
Glad you enjoyed your trip, lots of fun going through that many mountain ranges.

Ya I will be doing this trip again but hopefully next time its with other people not just myself. I will also be doing the ride over two days instead of 1, I love my bike but its just not set up to do 9-10 hrs riding in one day right now, it was nice to just get away and ride though. It was nice riding from kelowna to pentiction and around K mountain and yellow Lake though especially with a few more riders with me. Cant wait to get home from work next week and ride my bike again though, seriously getting the itch. Plus seasons almost over for us albertans
