Default Motor shut down on highway

I had a 107 built up on My other bike which is 2011 FXDC. Head work, cams, exhaust. And it was tuned. However a number of times the motor shut off on me while I was riding slowly in traffic. The motor would Idle slower and slower and then just shut off. Then I would start it up once again and it would idle and run as if nothing happened. When the bike was idling and I have felt the motor starting to slow down I would rev the throttle a bit to bring it back up again. Does anyone know what the issue can be

Check fuel pressure. Low Pressure will cause this.

You should look at the throttle body every time you change oil . I use cheap Carb cleaner and it makes a lot of difference .

Ya know they make Throttle Body Cleaner. Susposed to be safer on the delicate parts of the throttle body.

I had the same thing happen to me when my EITMS was enabled. If it kicked on, every time I let off the throttle afterwards, the rpms just wouldn't stay up enough to keep the engine running.

I disabled it, and haven't had a problem since. Does this happen when it's hot? Do you have EITMS?

This was my initial thought as well. What year is your bike? Do you know if it has EITMS(shuts down rear cylinder to prevent excessive heat build up). May not be compatible with your engine mods. If so, you dealer can disable it.

The bike is a 2011. So what youre saying is when the engine heats up the rear cylinder shuts off. and because of my engine mods it might not be working properly?? Ive never heard of anyone complaining of this issue who had the same engine mods. And why would the motor shut down if only one cylinder is working? And it wasn't that hot yesterday. It was about 71 degrees and I was moving slowly. Then the idle began to slow down once I stopped. However the rear cylinder didn't shut off. I know what that feels like with my other bike
