Default Finally Bonded

Bought my 2013 Super Glide Custom this past June. A combination of bad weather, work, family committments, etc. kept my rides to local jaunts. This past weekend was different. Left home (Long Island) on Friday and rode through the hills of Pennsylvania and the mountains of upstate New York. The trip odometer shows 640 miles in 48 hours. I have to say I am extremely pleased with the way FXDC ran and handled. Only mods are V & H Slip Ons (Thank you Sharkman73, a true gentleman), XIED's and seat mod by Mean City Cycles. Oh, almost forgot, a windshield and luggage rack/backrest combo. My 2004 Road King was certainly more comfortable on the highway, but the Super Glide was comfortable enough. The real treat was on the twisties! I couldn't get the smile off my face. If anyone is even considering a Dyna I highly recommend taking one for a spin on some good roads. You will not be disappointed. Winter "investment" will be a new suspension. Engine work will follow, but it had plenty of "oomph" for this 175 lb. guy.

I like my DYNA. I've been hrough the hills of Tennessee and up through Blue Ridge Mountains. Live in Mississippi so I also get rides on rolling hills. The Dyna is fine for me as I'm always solo. I do wish the suspension were a little better stock.
