Default Modified OG Arlen Ness Fairing

What's up everyone? Been looking at this Modified OG Arlen Ness Fairing and kit from Southeast Custom Cycles. Just wondering if anyone else is running this setup on a Bob. Also wondering about Southeast Custom Cycles 13" T-bars. Would like to see some pics! Thanks for any input!

Ric at Southeast is the man. Period. No one does Dyna detail like him. Buy with confidence.

I've known Ric for a few years now. He done all the work on my first bike and this past summer I bought one of his custom superglides. My bike has his 13" T-bars. His ness fairing kits are sweet. He takes the ness narrow glide fairings and modifies the lower cutouts of the fairing so it fits around our mid glide front ends. here are a few pics of my bike with the 13" T-bars https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...uperglide.html

NC-WG2011 that is one sharp bike you got! Thanks for the input also, I really dig how the fairing is smaller, the original just felt to bulky for me.

You can get a direct bolt-on for mid-glide front ends from Arlen Ness, clamps and all. Not saying you shouldn't get the one you have asked about, but the "guess work" of adopting the narrow-glide fairing to the mid-glide front end is already gone.

You can get it at other retailers, but that is where I got it. It was a bit cheaper when I ordered it, though... I think I paid $290.

Irish, if that's what you got, you have a 'mid-glide' Ness.

The direct bolt-on from Ness is NOT an OG narrow Ness. It's big and wide and if you want big and wide there's better options for you. Think Rifle or re-pop T-Sport. (my opinion)

If you want the OG Ness fairing, you either cut your own or now you have a second, better option from Southeast.

I realize it isn't the same fairing, I was merely pointing out that there is one made by Arlen Ness that is a direct bolt-on and is completely designed for the mid-glide front end rather than one that is reworked to fit it. Regarding its size, it is larger, but it fits fine, mounts easily, and I'm not sure what better options there are if you want the style of the Ness.

Regarding the T-Sport fairing and the 1/4 fairing Rifle makes for the mid-glide front end, I think the Ness looks better than both, so it's all a matter of preference. That said, the Memphis Shades Gauntlet is my absolute favorite and if I could do it over again I would have gotten it. I'm honestly tempted to order it and eat the loss since the headlight bracket that came with my Ness would likely allow me to get rid of the huge recess the M.S.G. has.

Anyway, to each their own.
