Question Fuel Moto vs. Fuelpak

It seems that the Fuel Moto Tuner does more than the V&H Fuelpak and also costs less - is that a fair assessment? Any downside to the Fuel Moto vs the Fuelpak?

Fuel Moto uses Fuel Moto branded Dynojet tuners. The Dynojet is more versatile than the Fuel Pak if you ever want to go more than stage 1. Fuel Moto has excellent support and are great to work with. They will even pre-load a map for you when you buy from them.

running a fuelpak with no problems, went that way because of ease of setup, plug and play, not a need for a computer for changes.

Agreed. Mine was already on the bike when I got it which is why I have it.

Power Vision does not need a computer ? Also Power Vision will do a lot more as long as you own the bike . You can down load the map sent with the unit auto tune it and take it off the bike put it away for later .

I'd like to go to one of those next but there twice the price of the power commanders from Fuel Moto . I have a feeling the OP is trying to stay within a budget. If money was no concern I'd go with a Thundermax

You have to have a computer to change the map don't you?

I don't plan on doing any other performance mods so it wouldn't be worth it to me to spend the extra money for a power vision or one of the more expensive units.

No ? If you buy a Power Vision it will come with a map . You up load your stock map for safe keeping and down load the map F-M sends with the unit . After that you can run the auto tune or not . You can also change the idle and more .

If down the road you need a totally different map then you can down load one off a Computer or send the unit back to F-M .
