Power Vision does not need a computer ? Also Power Vision will do a lot more as long as you own the bike . You can down load the map sent with the unit auto tune it and take it off the bike put it away for later .
The bike is an 05 so no O2 sensors. PV isn't practical for a bike without O2 sensors. Go with the FM tuner.

Thanks for all the replys everyone - very helpful.
I don't really plan on any engine mods beyond what I have - stage 1 AC and exhaust, so I really am just considering the FM and fuelpak. Very helpful - I'm going to go with the fuel moto.
I'm completely satisfied with my Fuel Moto PC V, I was trying to keep the cost down in my mods also and this appeared to be the best product for my money, great customer service should you need it too!

I have had 2 different bikes with F-M programs. How could anyone get a more perfect tune than Jamie can do "out of the box". They do this because they "get it" and love what they do which makes them great at what they do. Lastly the most superior customer service you can get.Fuel Moto hands down!
For a budget minded fuel tuner, do not rule out the FuelPak.
I am running Stage one with a SE255 cam and the FuelPak. My bike goes like hell and V&H has been decent to deal with over the years. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the FuelPak with out hesitation.
I do not profess you will get every ounce of power from your bike, but mine has done me well.
After 7 years of FuelPak, I just ordered a PV from Fuel Moto with Auto tune. Not because there is an issue with the FuelPak, rather I can now afford to upgrade. Will it be better? Time will tell...
When I was looking for a tuner I went through the same issues. The Problem with FuelPak, and Fuel Moto, is you'll find that you'll still need xieds.
After you get the combo it would bring you close to the cost of the PowerVision (I got my PV for $429)
The little added cost will give you a much better range of tenability for your bike. Watch the Powervision videos on youtube and you'll see what the PV can do.
I only have A/C and exhaust. No plans to do anything else. (But you never know)
I'd really hate it if someday I decided to upgrade the engine and realized that I'd have to spend more money.
The Fuel Moto plus the xieds will bring the cost to about $350. the PV is $429 about an $80 difference.
But the options, versatility, and the thing the powervision can do vs. the fuel moto is well worth the $80 IMHO!
Do your home work! You'll see what I'm talking about!
