Default Rifle fairing for 49mm dyna

I'm looking at getting a Rifle fairing for my 09 super glide and I have a few questions. Can I raise the entire fairing up from the stock position with the headlight or do I need a different mounting bracket like a Ness fairing? I've never seen the mounting hardware before so does anyone have a picture of how it looks/works? I've only had a Ness fairing and I had to fabricate my own custom mount to raise it up in order to match the top of my 16" T bars so I'm clueless of how the Rifle works.

Thanks y'all

The Rifle has two posts that come off the fairing and attach to the pinch bolts, or turn sig relocaters if you have em. You can adjust the height of the fairing, or how close or far out it sits very easily. There are a lot of good pics in the thread titled, "To the rifle fairing guys" do a search for that and get all the answers you need.

The mounting kit comes with a headlight relocation bracket which moves the headlight visor forward to fit with the fairing. I suppose you could use spacers to move the whole headlight assembly up or down but most times it's in just the right place. It has 4 mounting points and all 4 are adjustable so you can pretty much position it any way you want. I have one bike with a Rifle Roadster and another with a Rifle Nightflight. They are both quality pieces. A word of warning when choosing windshields, the dark smoke is really dark almost black. I got one and wish i had got the lighter smoke. The Nightflight windshield is bronze tint and just right.

My brother and I both had them...they are nice pieces.

here is his on the Superglide. There is some room for movement, but you will have to use some spacers like he said above.

Yes they actually work. Taking pressure off your chest, and a taller shield (15-18) right over your head as well. Its easy to adjust for buffeting. I have the 15" shield on mine, it lines up probably just under my chin and I get the majority of the wind taken off my face and chest, all with no buffetting.
