Hey guys, new to the forum and have enjoyed all the things I've read on here. I had 48, but upgraded to a 14' street bob and love it. I'm looking at adding new black bars to my bike and have bought two because I can't decide on which ones yet. It's between Burly narrow 14" and fat 14" Santee. I read ramhunter6's thread where he installed 14" apes with stock cables. Has anyone installed these bars or any other 14" apes with stock cables? Or tips on routing? Thanks for any input and I'm so addicted to this forum.

But with that said you will need to relocate the clutch cable to the right side of the bike. That is it. Nothing else needed with 14" bars.

 

My apologies ramhunter9, missed it by 3. I love what you've done to your SB. I appreciate the info on the cable.

 

Post a pic of the 2 bars you have. That might help.
