Default Help with saddlebags????

Anyone with saddlebags on their Dyna Wide glide? I have a newer scoot, but I am looking for some luggage haulers for a long ride. Any recommendations on some of the better bags to buy?

I hate to be a copy cat, but atleast if someone gives a bag a good review I know its good, and chances are I won't be parking my bike next to yours anytiome soon. "Hey them bags look just like mine"

Going to put this out there again since I received no response the first time. What bags are best? I know personal preference, but some help on this topic would be great. Pleather is out! I want a leather, long lasting, cool loooking saddlebag, but I would like something that has been tried by other riders and is dependable.

That way when I finally get some bags I know that I have a quality product and I will not be pissed off that I have to send em back, only to keep looking.
ANYONE?

PS... any pics would be a bonus!

My buddy has soft bags on his wide glide. I have rigid leather on my superglide, and some like the hard bags. You need to figure out what you want, how much space you need, and your look. If you can figure that out, you will be set. Then you just need to figure out detachable or not.

I went with leatherpros option. Detachable, sturdy build, tops guaranteed not to sag. A little pricey but not in comparison to HD bags. And they look better. Leatherpros.com. 20% discount if you order through tri state harley. Can't remeber the number but search for leatherpros on HD forums and it will come up.

Leatherpros as well on my FB. Easy on/off & very minimal docking hardware difference between stock.

I use the factory detachable ones. After messing with several throw overs I just wasn't pleased. Theses work great. They don't lock like the rigid ones but they do have an internal frame and the back side is made of ABS plastic so they won't sag.

Everytime I post and see you post your avatar keeps calling me, then you use terms like easy on/off... Not sure I read what you actually were trying to say

Default Dnya Wide Glide Saddlebags from The Leatherworks

Yes, I am a vendor, but I feel that The Leatherworks makes the best American Made Saddlebags. I would suggest the 112X bags for your Dnya Wide Glide. You can check them out at:
http://www.sideroadcycles.com/Import...xTrimline.html You can get them in Black Leather or Tan.

Another Option that we are now just putting on the web site is to offer for $29.95 extra is to switch out the standard Indian Head Nickels with a Custom Concho Option. See attached Custom Conchos we offer.

You would want to get a Turn Signal Relocation Kit. Check them out near the bottom of that same page

I have the same bags but I used my own spacers to bring the bags up tight to the bike for a cleaner look...

Definirely a nice product, but may be too pricey for my budget. I will definitely check out the link, and I like the conchos....as long as you have skulls. Just finished checking out the site. Not too bad in price.
