Cable Length w/ 16" NYC apes

Cable Length w/ 16" NYC apes

Bought a 07 Street Bob and just put some 16" NYC Choppers Curves ape hangers. Bars are pretty much exactly like 16" Nash midget gimps, with the same dimensions. Bike already had some wider 12" apes and aftermarket cables. Throttle and front brake cables worked fine, but clutch cable's too short. Problem is, I dont know how the length of the existing clutch cable compares to stock length. Can anyone help me by letting me know what length I'll need for my bars or the correct length of the stock clutch cable. TIA!

Try moving the cable where it runs on the right side down tube. There is a thread about it just try a search on here I ran 14's and still have enough for another 3 inches. I have a 06 street bob.

Found the thread. Thanks. I'll have to check out my bike and give that a shot when I get out of the hospital with my 1 year old. Dang Flu......
