Hey

So can anyone tell me why i got a 96 ci from 2006?

Are you able to buy next years model late year?

And anyone got a list of the changes they did when the engine and frame when they made the "new" TC96?

Cheers

2006 Dyna FXDB has the first 96ci motor I believe, it is still a 5-speed.
2007 all came with 96/6-speed, correct me if I am wrong.

Yes I believe that the 2006 was a TC88A engine which had the same upgrades as the TC96 from 2007 got.

As far as I know, you can only bore out a TC88 to 95ci or 97ci, you need a different crank for 96ci. I could also be wrong this time lol

I didn't understand your question then, what was it? Do you have a 07 or 06? Now I am confused.

88" is a 4" stroke
96" is a 4.375" stroke
pistons for the 96" have a different wrist pin location so they are different.
The jugs and bore are the same.

Mine is a 2007 model with 96 tc.

But it was bought in 2006.

Was asking if it's possible to buy next years model late year.
