Default Progressive 970s with #31 Boss Bags?

I'm in the market for new rear shocks for my '13 WG. I absolutely love the looks of the all black 970s...BUT I'm concerned that they won't allow my #31 Boss Bags to fit properly. The bags are molded for Dyna shocks and appear to leave some extra room from my initial, quick mockup. I'm just not sure how the 970s (with piggyback reservoir) will fit in that molded groove... The bags will be off just as much as they'll be on, so any rubbing or scuffing is out of the question...

Can anyone shed some light on fitment?

The shocks will probably have to be mounted with the reserviors forward, which requires you are careful with your passenger peg choice and adjustment. This was the case on my 2000 FXDX with the Leather Pro retro Bags, but your footpeg bracketry is different than mine so someone else with an 06 or newer will need to confirm.
