Recently bought a '04 Road King Classic. It's in great shape, except for the saddlebags which looked like someone tried to force them open at one point. Took them off and have so far purchased two different sets of bags which atre supposed to fit this bike but do NOT make room for the shocks like the stock ones.
Where can I find decent leather bags without paying H-D over $800.00 each for new ones?

Iron bags for real leather with plenty of options, I sold mine new to cover 75% of these

 

Gary,

make sure that someone hasn't used a lowering kit which would change the angle of the shocks. this would put the shocks at an angle which doesn't match the recess in the bags.
