Hell ya it would work! To sweeten the deal a bit more, switch to a .030 gasket to gain a compression bump. This is what I have on mine. Details in sig.

Yep runs good. Made 87/104 with one last week with big radius 2-1, similar to pro pipe.

Yep that's the cam you want. I love the way it pulls hard right up to the shift point.

I run 204's in my 88 with stage 1 and slip ons. I know it's not a 96 but the low to mid pull is awesome with the 204's

I haven't got cams in yet,but I did ask the tech that did the dyno on my bike and he said se204's with a 96 stage 1 would be just what I need when I'm ready to do it,along with adjustable pushrods as well.Just waiting for the funds, income tax is comming but wifey has that already spent, maybe next year, that's what I said last year too.rrrrrrrrr

Sorry to hijack the thread. I see in your signature your running them in a 103". Thinking about going from a 96" to a 103" in my '07 FXDB. Who's kit did you go with?

Thanks

Wink Dyna mods

Went with Screaming Eagle all the way. Like there stuff. Besides Want to stay HD. Don't like piece mill motor together. SE parts are all good and get 20% off at Suydykes.
