Default Viking Hard Bag Install and Review

Hey guys,

So as some of you have seen I recently installed a set of cruiser 3 slants that just didn't do it for me. After checking out some other options, I decided to go with and order this bag from Viking:

I think it'll look good on my fat bob and I plan to use the cyclevision bareback mounts when installing them.

I placed the order late last night and this morning I received a tracking number from Viking. Very cool. Once I get the bags I'm gonna post some pics and thoughts, as well as them installed on the bike.

Knock on wood, here's to a problem free install.

Subscribed. Be very curious to see how this goes. I have an FLD which comes w/ bags, but they are small. Would be nice to have an option.

Can't wait to see the actual product. Get pics up as soon as you can! This is the one I am interested in as well.

Guys sorry this has taken too long. The bags on the pic didn't work out. When I got them they were of really awful quality. Essentially just an unpainted abs plastic with scuff makes and a grey plastic viking tab stuck on with double sided tape.

I returned and exchanged them for the bags in the attached pic. I'm happy with the quality of these bags (would have like nice hard painted bags but too much money) so I think in the end it's a good compromise.

the new set looks great IMO. You may have covered this already but how are they mounted? Hardware provided by viking or you have a different set up? Thanks.
