The good ol do I need Cables thread
Ok guys I know this has been asked and I used search but am still not sure. I am ready to be flamed as well. I have a 2013 Wide Glide and I am looking at some 10" west coast T-Bars. Do I need to get any new cables? Also how much taller are they than the original riser and bars? I am looking for something with less pull back and less curve in the bar. I get arm cramps with the stock bars due to the height and how my wrists sit. I dont want apes and I want my arm at about shoulder height. I am 5'11.

Don't know if this is much help, but I just put 10" todds cycle strip bars on my 2013 wide glide, with 1.5" risers and I was able to use all stock cables and wiring. The clutch cable is a little on the tight side, but it works. I think the stock bar setup is around 8", not too sure on that. It probably depends what size risers u go with, I'm not familiar with T bars.

Just put westcoast 12" mx bars on my superglide sport. Ordered longer brake and clutch cables from magnum shielding (+4") on both. Im 6' and the bars feel great when riding. They have just the right amount of pull back to me. Best advice i can give you is order the bars you want and just stick them on and see what you need. You should have plenty of wire tucked inside the frame under the tank. Hope that helps.
