When i mounted my rear wheel back in I took the top of the caliper off to get the disc inbetween the pads, and reinstalled it after i got the wheel axle back in, What could i have done to make the rear brake not work? the brake light doesnt come on when i press the brake and it doesnt squeeze the disc, does anyone have any suggestions for this?

What do you mean: ? You took the caliper apart??? Got a picture?

 

I'm not to familiar with what everything is called, but it's the piece that wraps around the back of the brake pads, have a big round hole in it, I prolly sound like a jackass but I can take pictures tonight
