Does anyone play around with PV speedo calibration? My PV show appx 2 miles faster than actual speed, no idea how to change the value. I have 30T/66T combo and stock 17inch rear tire. Thanks! Alex
Is it really out of sync? Maybe your method of checking is a little out of sync...lol
I thought you set your Dakota Digital to match correct speed with a GPS?
I set Dakota digital to my GPS, but that could be out a bit. I have an iphone app that seems to be bang on with both of my vehicles. I am going to try it on the bike to see if my GPS is out a bit. PM me if you would like the app I am using.
Will we ever get the speedo to the correct setting? Who's setting is correct? HD speedos seem to be off on every bike.
I never look at my speed on the PV, just use it as a tool to correct the bikes speedometer, but have to use a gps to get an accurate reading then tweak the VSS in Quick Tune:
I have read iclick PV thread and kind of figure out the value. Rain today, I will test ride and confirm tomorrow. I have calibrated my Dakota digital last year, can use that as a reference. Factory 2047 pulses, I add 2.4% (my PV speedo is 2.4% faster) and made it to 2124. Tell you tomorrow!

Don't we program the same ecu speedo calibration? Sure you pay someone to do the job and the reading is spot on. It doesn't necessary mean PV can't do the same task, I must be missing something then. I love PV, you can always DIY instead of paying someone. No offense, TTS is great but I like PV better .

It seems to me that all of you with the PV sure do f**k around a lot with it.....I'm sure you all love tweaking with it but I prefer to ride my bike as opposed to tweakin on it....with that said, I had my bike professionally tuned by one of the top 3-5 tuners in the country 3 years ago and it has and still does perform flawlessly.....I have 101 hp,103 TQ,95" and I get 50+ mpg on the freeway and I haven't needed to *** with it for over 3+years.
Good for you!
FYI, I never F around with PV except auto tuning, it works flawlessly as well.
Never mind Whatever floats your boat. It's the matter of spending the money wisely which I did. Ride safe!
