I'm glad harley priced the low rider at $14,200,but I can't figure out why the Fat Bob is $1500 more. There is nothing I can see that adds that much to the price.

A sales guy who has been selling HD for a long time was shocked at the price. He said the last Low Rider went for a higher list price. The $14,199 base price for the Low Rider is a good deal considering the dual front discs, mag wheels, new designed bar adjusters, seat, etc.

There is more to pricing than stuff you see. Demand, name recognition, reputation and availability are a few reasons I can think of.
The Low Rider replaced the Super Glide so pricing has to be similar.
Well, damn... It's priced lower than my 2010 Fat Bob was new!! And with a bigger engine and tachometer and all that other cool stuff it has. And it looks sweet!!! I saw one at California Harley the other day and I seriously wanted to trade my Fat Bob in!!!

A year ago I was ready to buy the Fat Bob but someone told me he would NEVER buy a bike without riding it extensively. I had the opportunity to go to Americade in Lake GEORGE, NY and rode every bike in the Harley line (except the Sporties which was not in the running). If the Fat Bob had mid-controls I would have bought it. The forwards were not for me. By the time I shifted the Super Glide into 5th gear I KNEW it was for me. I actually took it out three times I loved it so much.
I wasn't riding it, I was wearing it!
