Default Clutch cable compatibility

Any differences in clutch cables on an older dyna and a newer one? Will a clutch cable from my 2000 FXDX work on the 2009 Fat Bob?

Looks pretty much the same - 96 Wldeglide and 07 SB. Still got a leftover spare 96 clutch cable IF I need it. Just check the length.

The reason I ask, is I have Motion Pro 06-2164 cable on my FXDX, and was going to get another for my Fat Bob as it would be the perfect length for my new bars. Motion Pro doesn't list fitment anything above 05 and doesn't offer a blackout cable for 06-newer dynas in the right length. I don't see what would be different unless it was the threads into the ball and ramp housing. I emailed Motion Pro to ask
