Default Clutch cable adjustment, too long?

Got the 16" Carlini gangsters on,bought the cable kit from carlini, can NOT for the life of me adjust clutch cable. There's just to much slack. Have done everything by the book still can not figure it out

The length of the cable itself should not make a difference in adjusting it. As long as the ends and the adjuster are correct. Are you sure it is mounted right inside?

Length of cable has no bearing on whether or not it can be adjusted. Unless it's to short but that's obvious. You may have to take the trap door back off and make certain the ramp is pushed all the way back.

Won't the ramp just move as the cable moves

you need to be sure that the ***** are set in the ramp- make sure by pulling in the cable with pliers that the clutch rod is moving the clutch pack against the spring.

if is is and you have positive feeling all the way out and all teh way back, then you'll know that all is good under the trap door...if there is slop, just doing this a few times should set the *****

I got it. I put the ramp back together, put slop in the cable, tightened it through the primary until it took up the slack then did the clutch adjustment set the cable and done.
