Default Rush slip-ons for new stock 2013 FXDF

I would like to buy Rush slip-ons for my 2013 Fat Bob and was wondering which baffles to buy to avoid having to tune the bike. Or do I have to tune no matter what? Anybody??
P.S. My bike is brand new -got it on Monday and it is totally stock.

I use the 1.75" baffles (more torque), a stage 1 air cleaner and SEPST. If you are just using slip-ons you do not have to re-tune the bike. If you do a stage 1 air cleaner with slip-ons you do not have to re-tune the bike, but it will run better and cooler if you do (if it's done right)

I just put Rush slip ons on my 2014 FXDF. The guys at rush recommended me a 2 inch baffle. Said I'd want to probably have it tuned if I went bigger. I plan on doing a stage 1 next season but will likely change the entire exhaust system so I went with 2.00 inch for now. Runs good and sounds good. 1.75 or 2.00 is probably what you want.

no tuning requires until you open the air intake. They will all sound about the same, the bigger the baffle the louder the pipe the less torque, but power wise it will barely show.

I ran 2" on my softail for about a year before I made more mods and tuned it and it ran fine and sounded good IMO. Good luck.

I tried to use the 2" baffles on my 05 Deluxe. Didn't make enough back pressure and lost lots of torque down low. They were pretty loud too. May have been OK with the stock engine, but with intake and 48 cams it just wouldn't work. Took them off after one ride (~50miles ) and went with Surprtrapp Supermeg 2-1 to recover the lost torque.

Based on my results I'd recommend the 1-7/8" baffles for both sound and back pressure (=torque).

I haven't noticed a power loss. Of course I've only rode with them about 20 miles. If it's not noticeable or barely noticeable anyway I'll take the power hit for now until I do a full system. Like you said the difference may be in the stock engine, AC, and cams
