Not sure what you mean by it stopped working. A little more info, please.
If the engine light came on it threw a code, so check to see which one(s).
Did you just wash the bike or ride in the rain?
You can send the unit back to V&H and they will check it out at no charge and see if it's defective.

Been there, done that with a couple tuners. Last one was a PCIII. That was enough for me. Went with the dealer download, and absolutely no problems. Bike is running cooler, and I just checked the plugs yesterday, and they look perfect. Wasted a bunch of time and money on ''tuners'', and my bikes ran better without them. Download is working great for me.

That's very hospitable of them, some dealers end their service when they get your money the first time. Be worth the few bucks and trouble just to see what the deal was about it but if it's bad anyway then which is the new choice?

I haven't changed any engine parts yet and am wondering which tuner (eventually) I would get.

I have tried a few them add on box things never got none to be what i wanted. Hence i stopped the madness and want to a powervivsion tuner. I recommend most of the tuners that writes to the ECM or go with a Thunder Max.
