While out riding sunday my engine light came on. Bike ran normal, started normal after stops, didn't burn any extra gas etc. Took it to dealer monday, showed a code 1353. Hooked it to machine to check it out, said that they would have to go a little deeper into it, because it could be the Fuel Pak throwing a false code. The Fuel Pak has been on the bike form about 2 1/2 years with no problems. Has anyone else had this code or problem?
Thanks for your input!
The bike runs fine, no combustion on the front cylinder would make it run bad. Not to say the I'm not getting a false code.
I had that code one time but the bike was running fine and had plenty of compression. It turned out to be a faulty spark plug wire not providing good spark. I couldn't tell it by the seat of the pants but it was throwing a code anytime I showered down on it.

This could be the problem because, I did notice that the light would go off when stopped at a red light although not every time or running slow. Then when I would take off from the light or speed up it would come back on. Thanks for the info!
Plug wire was the problem. Must have knocked it loose when cleaning bike the day before. Dealer found the problem, checked plugs, reinstalled wires with the grease, cleared the code, check tire pressure then test road. My bike is now ready for pick up and I'm out on the boat for another week. Oh, by the way it's only costing me $29.20, I figured that they would at least try and hit me up for one hour labor but, they didn't.
