Hi, anyone had the check engine light re illuminate after initial strart up, then go out after approx 7 seconds? Bike runs fine and light stays out. Running se11"s fuelpac k"n N filter. The light goes out after 4 secs and then re illuminates for 7 secs, then goes out! Any help appreciated.

It means there is a code stored in the computer but it is not a re-occuring problem. \\; Its very easy to retrieve and clear the code. \\; Do a search, the how to is out there somewhere.

Mine did the same. A few seconds on then off again. The Harley ran fine-I ignored it. Several weeks into it the light came on permanently - still ran great. The dealer found a defective O2 sensor. He explained that when the sensor goes out the computer program enrichens the fuel mixture slightly to keep you running. The replacement of the sensor solved my problem never to recur after an additional 13,000 miles.
