Default Homemade highway peg mount-Thoughts?

I've been trying to find a highway bar/peg/mount that will work with my setup, floorboards, etc.. I haven't seen one I like yet so I started tinkering with some stuff laying around. Watcha think?

I'm a true amateur, but it looks good man and I can tremendously appreciate going in the garage and making something yourself. That is awesome. I made a toe shifter peg out of a .50 cal round. I am waiting on the epoxy filler to dry before I drill it and test it.

If it works for you, it don't matter what others think.

Anything .50 BMG is good by me. Make sure you post pics. Sorry to hijack.

Thread Starter: I love what you're doing. I agree that making something yourself is so awesome.

The pegs look tiny. Are the rear pegs?

Yea If I keep the mount I will order some pegs to match the floorboard covers and powder coat it all black. Those were some leftover rear pegs I had laying around, just to mock it up with.

Update, I went ahead and finished them in wrinkle black with a longer extension and installed (without the vise-grips, lol).
