Asking for a friend of mine if the thicker 90/90 can fit fine w/o and mods under the stock front on his 2012 Wide Glide? I believe the stock FXDWG front rim is 2.15.

Should be no problem. I know I've seen a 90/90-21 on a Wide Glide, I'm running a 90/90-21 Night Dragon on the front of my Super Glide (using a Wide Glide rim) and it fits fine on the rim and under the stock fender.

 

The front fender on the wide glides is much skinnier than ours so I'm not sure, but I know ours are no prob.

I'm running a Metzler 120/70 21" Jirah on mine.

 

Lot of guys running that size on the stock wheels no problem. Its on my list of things to do for my bike.

 

I didn't realize that.

 

On my Wideglide I'm running 90/90/21 Night Dragons with no problems. They fit right in. Just dont know why they dont come from the factory that way.

 

I am on my 3rd set of 90/90 21s Mich. commander II. Fits great, feels great. 2001 FXDWG.
