Default Problems with stalling out

I recently have developed a Engine Stall and die upon decelling. I have a 2009 Dyna Super Glide Custom with just over 10,000 miles. It just started Last weekend and has not triggered an engine light yet, I do not have a diagnostic tool to check for codes. It is full of fuel. any suggestions?

Go to nightrider.com and look up diagnostic codes. The codes are in your speedometer. Ya got the tools needed to check for errors and ya didn't even know it. Life is GOOD!!!!

+1 I had the same problem and fixed it with a new IAC.

Cleaning didn't help mine. I think the part is roughly $40 from HD. You can leave the intake manifold in place but you will have to remove the tank to get at it.

True, it's not a very spendy part. Throttle body cleaner is a lot cheaper. But cleaning it should be the first step since it's something people don't usually pay attention to until there's a stalling problem. I hate throwing parts at something unless the other possibilities are eliminated.

Agreed. Cleaning mine did release quite a bit of black gunk.
