need help engine runs irregularly and missing
Coming home from Filmore yesterday, Pulled away from the light and the bike started missing and bucking on me. I noticed the engine light was on. I was on a highway and i could get it up to sixty but if i gave it fuel it just bucked on me more. On the way home i noticed my engine light was going off and on. Question how do you find the computer codes I have the service manual and I don't see anything in it about the codes? I did fill up about 60 miles before it started happening. So I'm thinking maybe bad gas. Or maybe the plugs. I have an 06 RG. What is the easiest way to drain the tank? And is there a book with the computer codes that I should Have? thanks in Advance.

Sounds like what I had when the temp sensor crapped out. Easy fix.

how do the plugs look? gotta check the stupid stuff first. a loose plug wire, etc, just the dumb stuff first. most things can be brought back to life by just checking the basics. it won't hurt.

While you're at it, grab a can of Seafoam fule injector cleaner and run it through the system. Mix it stronger than recomended and if there is dirt or water or bad gas, it should help. It can be found at Autozone.
