I took my 03 RKC out for a spin today and it ran like crap ... very rough running and it missed, coughed and almost stalled on me as I pulled away from several stop signs. It ran so bad that I didn't want to get too far from home. After about .5 hr, it seemed to improve so I kept riding, thinking that I had picked up some bad gas at the end of a previous ride. I burned off about .5 tank and stopped to put some fresh gas. Bike started OK, but the engine light came on for a few seconds ... so there is a stored fault code.
I figure the code will probably be the misfires. Does anyone have any thoughts or things that I should check. Thx.
