Default Check Engine light

I reset my MAP and went out for a ride..., my check engine light came on after about 25-30 miles. I stopped and when I restrarted headed back home.... it didnt come back on. Rode about 40 miles today and didnt come back on. Could it have been the PC making adjustments. Gas mileage still sucks.

if your check engine light came on, then the ecm is detecting some kind of fault. if the light went out, the fault 'self corrected' but the code will still be in the memory. you really need to pull the codes and find out what specific fault it was, it will come back.

look in the manual and start with the psi that they recommend. then adjust as necessary.
