Default 2014 Street Bob with Cobra Speedsters and Floorboards

Hey All,

I posted a thread a while back looking for a 2-1 pipe for my Street Bob that I installed the factory floorboard kit on. V&H required dremel to heat shields and I didn't want any "adjusting" for them to fit.

I found that the Cobra Speedsters fit and I liked them for a 2-2 especially since they remind me of my V&H Longshots I had on a bike 10 years ago. These fit great and today I rode about 100 miles to "auto tune" my FP3 tuner and that too worked really well and is very easy to use. Here is a pic for anyone looking.

Sorry I hit some rain water so the pipes are spotty.

I love the floor boards. Do you have a link to where you got those and what all was involved in installing them?

Boy those do look nice I've been trying to figure out what kind of exhaust to get. In between Rush, V&H, Cobra (2-2) is what I'm looking at. How is the sound and feel? Do they have a crossover?

If you want floorboards and a 2 into 1 order the exhaust for a Switchback. Simple solution. No trimming required.

Those who are asking that's the floorboard kit from Harley. Straight out of the p&a book.

The sound is awesome for me. My wife drives behind me on her sporty and said the noise is fine (not too loud). No crossover and not too bad for the install.

I'm working on a comparison video (stock to cobra) but I've never done it so it's slow going. I'm digging this setup but like I said, I've always loved long 2-2 setups.

I have those Cobra Speedsters on my 13 WG. Yes, they have a built in crossover and they sound really good. I had the Bassani Firesweeps on previously which sounded really good also but the baffles are welded in...I like to tinker around with different baffles so I bought the Cobras. Also, I'm also not a fan of the slashdown tips so I put the straight tips on instead.

And the FP3 tuner works well too with the auto-tune feature and bluetooth phone app. Easy to get a nice tune. I don't plan on ever doing any more motor work so this set-up works well.
