I just bought my first Harley 3 months ago. I purchased a 2009 Iron 883. After riding for a while, I decided that I wanted something bigger. Especially since my girlfriend ended up loving to ride so I needed something that was a little better for riding 2 up. I just traded the Iron in for a 2014 Street Bob and could not be more happy with it.

I got a pillion seat thrown in with the deal and am looking to purchase a back rest for her as well. Then I plan on getting some slip ons and possibly some saddlebags.

Congrats on the new bike!

Ride it a bit before you sink too much into mods. You may find you like a completely different style after you've put $$ into it too hastily. My bike is completely different from my initial changes (lowered, apes, tall sissy bar at first) to the "west coast club" style that makes it more "rideable".

And now I have a sportster as well for the lowered cruiser/bobber style.
