2006 Steet Bob - Not Able To Override Alarm
Hey Guys,
I have 2006 FXDBI. I just swapped out the ignition, so I have new keys and fob. I don't have the old fob. The security system got triggered and I know the override pin, but the procedure is working.
I turn the ignition on and immediately hit both turns signal switches. And I'm supposed wait until the security key light starts flashing rapidly and the odometer goes to all dashes, then enter the pin by using the left turn signal for code number and the right as the enter key.
My issue is - when I hit both turn signals to start the procedure, no matter how long I hold them down, the security key light never starts flashing rapidly and the odometer never sets to all dashes. I've tried this with the kill switch in both the on and off position as as well as with the key in the ign and acc positions.
Has anyone ever had this issue and if so how did you fix it?
Any help is much appreciated
