Default Which 2 into 2 for my FXR?

Of course I mean 2 into 1 but I can't seem to edit the title. I've had my heart set on a thunderheader but now i'm opening my mind to other options. What have you guys had and loved and how do they compare?
Thanks

Go with your heart. You'll only get confused by all the answers here.

I've been eyeballing the ThunderHeaders for a while too. I'm just a bit concerned that the low point under the footpeg might scrape the ground during aggressive cornering. Hopefully I'll run into somebody the has then on an FXR that can advise.

Thing is my stock punched out pipes are pretty quiet, don't scrape even when my pegs make ground contact, run great even with the S&S 111", and they look half way decent. I'd assume I'd see a bit of a performance gain with the TH, and they do have a great look. But I'm reluctant to drop that kind of money without knowing if they'll scrape, that would be a deal breaker for me.

I've got the thunderheader 2 into 1 on my bike and have no issues of scraping the ground, and I have it lowered. They sound pretty awsome I think you guys well like em.

I don't have an FXR, but am delighted with my SuperTrapp, below. No visible or actual cornering clearance problems and excellent torque, plus a very smooth running motor.

The ***** Pipe or I mean Thunderheader does have a sound that is hard to beat with good performance. Some of the other brands are known to have better quality and tuning ability but not the sound, I personally like to target a deal on exhaust that someone else has more money than sense and changes pipes like underwear, usually can find the exhaust you want for hundreds less.

I've always loved the sound from a Thunderheader, but run a Fatcat for the better performance.

Rich, I was scrapping the TH pipes on my FXR4, often. I changed my HD stock fork springs to Works springs and have had no issues since then. I have 12.5" Progressive shocks out back. But, the fork springs ( and new oil ) seems to have stopped the scrapping, right and left side.
