1998 Super Glide with Screamin Eagle Air Cleaner Cover...an upgrade?
Hey guys, I am new to the Harley scene and recently purchased a 1998 Super Glide. I have no info from PO about upgrades etc. On the bike is the round silver Screamin Eagle Air Cleaner cover. My question is if this is an upgraded air cleaner? Did this come stock on 98 Super Glides? Is it simply a different cover? Does it use a different size air filter? I ask mainly because I wanted to replace the cover but since its a 1998 Im not having much luck finding info about that.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I thought pretty much all Evo's had the round cover.
The screaming eagle a/c does away with the restrictive back plate and comes with a K&N style element.
Regarding the bean shape, are you sure you don't mean tear drop shaped which is what S&S carburetors use?
The ham can style was used in the 70's on shovels.

Check out the St Charles Harley parts finder for the 98 Super Glide.

In any case, the stock filters are odd shaped, the stock covers are round.
