the white came from a new old stock 1965 tour pack that was still in the box unopened from 1964 we found and did a color match by computer - we painted the bags -tank badges - gas tank bottom

the HI Fi Blue came from a new old stock oem harley laquer quart paint can, it was un open dated January 1970 with the 1965 part number on it for the 65 bike - then we converted it to todays paint doing a spray out then a computer match

this sort of work is very expensive to do - on Saturday I was offered 55,000 dollars for the machine and had to turn him down as it was not mine to sell, and I know the guy would not have taken that for it - 300 hours went into that one to complete it - the red 1971 FLH took almost 500 hours but after 6 years its still the highest scoring AMCA AMF restored FLH in the country and NO one has ever receive 100 points for any bike

I ran home in that storm. Branch whacked my helmet.......just was looking at it and it smashed the vents off in top....... One of the worst storms I ran into in years
