Cool new lifters

how do i adjust valves with new lifters and pushrods?lifters not pumped up do i start turns when pushrod is just pushing on lifter spring?

First did you soak them in oil? I would not make the tight or you can jam a lifter or bend a push rod

thanx chuck ,had rebuilt topend with revper85in cylinders and s&s heads went on 1500 mile trip ran great! topend noise at last 50 miles ,collapsed lifter springs and had to shim cam, putting in fueling lifters and taperlite pushrods wanted to get adjustment right ,new lifters springs softer than old ones maybe they were shot at earlier adjustment, should have putin new lifters when i did topend! wrench & ride & learn! lucky i didnt do more damage
