Air cooled motor getting hot while at a stop light (no air flow) I would call normal.
The MGS have not been a problem while running around Vegas heat any more than other pipes/bikes and they're coupled to a 121. Tune & lowers may also contribute. I will say the finish on the MGS is spot on and I love the sound. They say fwiw, no lose in power compared to other pipes including 2/1's

I am currently leaning towards S&S Power tune duals but now need to figure out what mufflers to run. I am looking to get a nice deep rumble with a serious bark when you rip the throttle, I am looking for loud but not obnoxious. I also need to get a set that perform well with MR103 or S&S 551 cams...

Suggestions welcome.
DanMan90, I like my setup but not sure they would have enough bark for you. Did your tuner recommend a muffler along with the S&S head pipe? S&S also makes a great sounding muffler but a little to loud for me. Who is going to tune your bike? My buddy and I are going to Rob's dyno. My bike has been tuned once by the dealer but it still pings. I'm sure Rob will fix my issue.

I would pick the one that looks and sounds the best to you.

Here's a video clip of the MGS true duals I installed on a Road King.

V&H Dresser Duals w / MGS slip ons (loud baffle). Slight difference in sound, but not much.
