Default 103 is it enough ????

i just had a 103 put into my 09 touring it is 10.1 flat tops, decked head to make it 10.25 to 1, ported head 1.9 intake 1.62 exhaust compression release, bassani road rage 2 into 1, ventilator intake, headquarters 575 cams, trued weld crank timken upgrade, sert, he is still tuning but right now it is 105hp and 107tq, it is fiished so maybe im questioning to soon, but i thought it would be more, he has a dyno 250 and said it is more conservitive than the other local dealers, by as much a 10hp i should be happy because my baseline was 64 and 80tq what do you think???

Its not bad But that kind of work you should see 112/115 hp My 107 stage 2 kits make up to 120hp 120tq

Heh you could always add a 8 psi procharger super charger and make 157 hp plus power very easy your motor is already to go...... Now that would be fun.

I hope after its done being tuned it will be up in power for you.

Hopefully as he continues to tweak the tune, the numbers will come up a bit. And if he is telling you that his dyno is stingy, then you may be hitting better numbers and no know it. Go for rideability and forget about the end numbers if it pulls good and is easy to ride.

Nothing wrong with a good 103. Tune it and enjoy it.

I'd be happy. My 106 came out 105/117, from Herko. A LOT has to do with the dyno, and the person running it. You really can NOT compare from one dyno to another, even tho we do that. Some dynos and some operators are NOT obsessed with numbers, when Drago says 115/115 etc... that is on HIS dyno, actually. SOme dynos are older, some newer, and others are... "happy dyno' is a saying for a reason.

What IS important is the graph, and NOT the numbers the graph represents. The way the graph itself looks will determine how the bike will perform.

If all the points in your tune are adjusted properly, ride and enjoy it.

look at the two graphs in this thread. Look at what simply the exhaust does to the bikes. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/engin...-to-107ci.html

As Drago said, the 120 #'s are what can be expected, with the 107" combinations.
Just did a 106", for a cat in Texas that maked 122/124, carbed.

Scott, I gotta agree with you, I was just playing nice. In that combination you should see 115/115 or there abouts.

brian at valley racing in beecher put it together, larry did the heads, it did final out at 105 107, he says that is all she has, for 10.25 to 1, if i went dome it would be more, but he talked me out of them because of fuel quality,

also while i was dropping of my bike he was finishing up a true hq107 kit that only read 110 120 with 11.1, so with that being said maybe his dyno is conservitive
