Default Vibration

Hello all. I've got a quick question for those here that are good with engines. I have a 2003 road glide with a twin cam 88 engine. My engine vibrates real hard as it goes through 2000 rpm. It makes no difference what gear it is in it vibrates at 2000 rpm. The vibration is hard enough to shake the windshield pretty hard. It does not vibrate at any other rpm. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the vibration? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your motor mounts?

You said it vibrates as it "goes through" 2000 rpm no matter the gear. What are the rpms at when you shift? If you are shifting below 2k it could be that you are bogging the engine.

I'd put an eyeball on the motor mounts, and see if all is well.
If they are, next move would be to measure pinion shaft run out.

Well no I have not checked them. The bike has pretty much been a garage queen and only has a little over 12K miles on it. I'll give all of the mounts a good look see . Thanks.

I'm not lugging the motor. The vibration occurs in first going up in rpm or coming down in rpm as well as other gears whenever I'm at 2K rpm.
