You do have a Svc manual in front of you while you do this, Right?????????

Loosen the Throttle cables at the adjusters ALL THE WAY.....

Remove AC cover, element and back plate.....

Disconnect Fuel line at tank..... Raise tank rear and shim with 2x4.....

Or remove......

Disconnect Injectors, MAP Sensor, TPS, IAC, IAT and tape up and out of the way.......

Remove cables from TB unit......

Using 1/4" Ball allen, loosen the Rt flange bolts......

Remove horn......

Use 1/4 Ball allen loosen Lt bolts.......

Go back to Rt side, remove Flange bolts and slide out TB Unit........

Oh, it works best with a 1/4 drive socket on an extension, or the Intake Manifold Wrench made by KaStar......

Lot easier with the CORRECT TOOLS.......

Default RE: Removing intake

The manifold to head bolts will be the most difficult to remove. I use a cutoff piece of a good quality 1/4" allen wrench about 1" long, slip a 6 pt closed end 1/4" wrench over it tight to the bolt head, and crack it. That should do it.
Be VERY careful with a ball end allen. If your bolts are frozen, you will likely strip the inside of the hex. Best to use my descried method first time just in case.
Use a dremel abrasive cutoff wheel to cut the allen. You may need a few wheels to get thru.
