My first question is should I be using the data from the "Smart Tune" that's located in the same directory as (“Working”, “Last Saved”, “Original” and “Smart tune”) into the upper half or should this info come from the "Smart Tune" folder directly above this folder?
Also, just to see if I was on the right path, I tried to record some data without riding the bike. The .hdx files were created and saved just fine, but when I imported them as in step #40 and clicked generate, the program displayed an empty chart, all zeros in the table. FYI, the working tables were populated with data. Is this simply because there was no load?
Thanks,
Mike
wondering the same thing? I know this is a older post . I just got into the smart tune world . Did anyone ever answer this question?

Reilly asked a GREAT question. Dealer did a dyno tune and the bike runs awesome except it developed a bit of popping on decel. I would like to use that tune as the base and build on it.

Anyone???

Looking forward to putting this info to use. I recently purchased a 2015 Road Glide Special that has a Screamin Eagle Stage 1 intake, V&H Power Duals Head pipes and V&H Oversized 450 Raider slip-ons. the bike also came with the SEPST and the correct cables to plug into the bike.
The previous owner told me he tuned it after installing everything, but I'm still getting a lot of decel popping. Not that I mind, but it seems excessive, especially coming home from work at 2 in the morning.
But my biggest concern is at times it will nearly stall out and sounds like its gasping for air (almost a backfire through the "carb" without the pop) after sitting at a traffic light when I first roll on the throttle after getting a green light. It just came out of service with the dealer for 25k mile and they installed new plugs as well.

I know this thread is almost 7 years old but are these instructions still relevant with he current SEPST? Would like to try an AUto Tune sometime but this is a little intimidating.
