Unhappy More cornering on Superlow

Hello,

just bought a '11 Superlow. Very nice bike. The online flaw I find at the moment is low cornering allowed. I was not expecting to be SO low in curves. Want to raise it with 12" or 13" rear shocks and longer forks. Can you share your solutions and pics? I'm concerned about final results (dynamics) and look of the bike... Don't want it to look odd!

Thank you!

I also have a 2011 SuperLow, which I bought new. First, remove those spikes in the footrests, if they are still there, they simply unscrew. You can use any brand of suitable 13" rear shocks, I have Hagons, although am thinking of changing them for Hagon Nitros, for better damping.

Now the forks! Lift the front wheel off the ground, so the forks are fully extended, and measure from the underside of the bottom yoke/tree to the top of the slider. Put the bike back down on the ground and measure the same distance, while sitting on the bike. I suspect you will find a difference of at least 2"/50mm.

I found the 'sag' of my forks was too much and I had only around 1"/25mm to ride on. The cheapest solution, which will lift your bike around an inch, is to use spacers to compress the front fork springs, correcting the excess of sag. I actually used single-rate Race Tech springs and the spacer kit that came with them. The end result is my bike rides about an inch higher at both ends - a Super-not-so-Low!

Hope that helps.
