Default Cool custom Sportster from Australia

I've written about how I like some cafe-style Harleys before, and would really love to build an XR750 clone someday. So I'm always interested in projects which take a Harley in a slightly different direction, and I loved this build from Australia's Kustom Kommune. Now, I know a bunch of members might be turned off by the play off the word commune in the name—but forget about dope-smoking hippies growing soybeans.

Yeah, turning might be a little weird with that huge rubber on the front, but overall I love this thing!

Think of the power that thing would have if it weren't for all that spaghetti exhaust.

That bike is such a mix of badazz and stupid...why would you go to all the trouble to make the rear "fender" into a cool oil tank, and then do such a crappy job of running lines to it? The exhaust looks like it was started by a master bender, and then they got a amateur to finish it.

That looks like a blast. Get's lots of cool air too.

Wonder if she's fast with those weird pipes. It would look great with a more traditional exhaust.

Oh, and if anyone is offended by the word commune, it better be because their wife left them for one. Otherwise, they need to get a life.

not a fan of this bike. i live in melbourne..so no local bias. looks uncomfortable to ride, tyres are butt ugly, and it looks like a crotch rocket wannabe. if it was smoking hot, there'd be a load of comments on it. yes, i know its subjective..some will like it no doubt.
